Arkticheskaya: Dillinger plates for the russian jack-up-rig project
The "flora of the russian Arctic"
The platform is unique in its building class. It has been designed for the exploration and the exploitation of oil- and gas fields in the arctic waters. The platform with a hull length of 88 meters and a hull width with outriggers of 66 meters has a maximum drilling depth of 6.500 meters. Thanks to the length of its legs (140 m), it can be used in a water depth up to 100 meters.
Its jacking system consists of three legs of truss-girder construction, each of them is equipped with rack-and-pinion hoisting device with electromechanical drive. Arkticheskaya has an accomodation module for 90 employees, living quarters at the head part and a heliport.
