A giant made of Dillinger steel
Record-breaking loads are lifted with DILLIMAX!
The record cranes AL.SK190 and AL.SK 350 have titanic load moments from 190,000 mt (AL.SK 190) and up to 354,000 mt (AL.SK 350). With the quick winch system each of both cranes can lift 600 t and with the main boom the AL.SK 350 even lifts 5,000 t. High loads and high safety requirements require steel plates with high strength and high impact values: DILLIMAX.
The record cranes AL.SK 190 and AL.SK 350 represent a new dimension of super heavy lift cranes. The more powerfull of both cranes, the AL.SK 350, can lift a maximum load of 5,000 t at a radius of 12 m. This corresponds to a load moment of 354,000 tm. The crane could easily lift two Rhine ships from the landing to a place onshore. Also essential: the moving giant can cover a total area with a radius of more than 150 m.
Both cranes are designed to operate even in arctic temperatures down to -40 °C. This requires DILLIMAX steel with high strength and extreme toughness at low temperatures.
