Heavy plates for Gemany’s biggest galvanizing pot
A dip tank for giants
The galvanizing of components of more than 19 m in length has now become possible: in the Siegener Verzinkerei Holding in Germany. It has installed Germany‘s largest galvanizing pot. The plates from which the pot was built were supplied by Dillinger - 70 tonnes of heavy plates in 50 mm plate thickness, 4 m plate width and 8.5 m plate length. Thanks to this new facility, the galvanizing of big components becomes less complicated and even cheaper, while the construction too becomes easier. Moereover, the entire facility is suited with a filtration system with heat recovery, which actively contributes to environmental protection.
