The world’s thickest TM plates – reloaded

After our product developers succeeded in 2014 in expanding the feasibility of S355M/ML up to 140 mm plate thickness, they achieved now a further important milestone.
Our branded steels DI-MC 460 (~S460M/ML) and DI-MC 355 (~S355M/ML) are available yet up to a plate thickness of 150 mm - for outstanding workability even at higher strength and larger plate thickness Hence, our customers profit, especially for the strength class S460, from an excellent weldable alternative with low carbon equivalent, even at larger thickness. Dillinger is thereby perfectly prepared for the new version of EN 10025-4 which is scheduled for this year and will describe the thermomechanically rolled steels up to 150 mm. They are already available at Dillinger.
