The Steel Network Sustainable Construction Charter

On Monday, September 27, 2010, representatives of the European and global steel industry met in Brussels to sign the Steel Network Sustainable Construction Charter.
In affirming the Charter, all signatories have agreed on a strategy for the promotion of environmentally safe and efficient procedures in steel engineering, optimization of the use steel in sustainable engineering projects, and exhaustive exploitation of all potentials for the recycling of steel components. The Steel Network Sustainable Construction Charter is a new instrument in the battle against global warming.
