International Pressure Vessel and Boiler Construction Colloquium from Dillinger

For the ninth time, Dillinger is welcoming its worldwide partners from the pressure vessel and boiler construction segment to Dillingen to share experiences and information.  More than 200 experts from the energy, chemical and petrochemical industries, from plant construction and operation, as well as from engineering, research and inspections are expected to attend the colloquium on 13 and 14 September 2018, with lectures, workshops and discussions on the subject of energy supply and efficiency.

Steel from Dillinger is making an important contribution to securing energy supply and to sustainably improving energy efficiency. For example, “customized” steels from Dillingen are used to develop efficient technologies for oil and gas exploration as well as modern power plant technologies with special processes for reducing carbon and boosting efficiency. Products from Dillinger's heavy fabrication division, such as so-called “bottoms,” are typical components produced in extraordinary dimensions and supplied to plants for the production of low-sulfur fuels or steam generators in solar power plants.
