Extra thick TMCP-plates up to 140 mm thickness now approved by german building-authority

Following last year’s metallurgical advance now the approval by the building-authority comes into effect.
The german institute for structural engineering (DIBt) has pronounced the national technical approval Z-30.2-64 for the thermomechanically rolled heavy plates of grades S355M/ML up to 140 mm. This allows our customers to apply these beneficial heavy plates now up to a plate thickness of 140 mm in the authority regulated building sector in Germany.The conformity to this national technical approval of DIBt is declared by the so-called Ü-mark (Übereinstimmungszeichen). It then replaces the necessity of a CE-mark in Germany.
