Two projects with Dillinger steel honoured
On 14th of November, the ECCS Steel Bridge Awards 2016 were awarded in Stockholm. The winner in the category “Road and Railway Bridges” is the Sundsvall Bridge in Sweden.
The „Special Engineering Award“ for outstanding structural and mechanical engineering was granted to the Botlek bridge in Rotterdam.
For these honoured bridges, Dillinger steel has been used, thereof the thermo-mechanically rolled steel S460M/ML with highest requirements on welding properties.
