Dr. Karlheinz Blessing nominated as the new Chairman of the Management Board of Saarstahl

Dr. Blessing has been a member of the Management Board since July 2007. Since January 1994 he is also a member of the Management Board of Dillinger Hütte, since 2011 as its Chief Executive Officer. Furthermore, Karlheinz Blessing is a member of the Management Board of SHS – Stahl-Holding-Saar. He will continue to carry out these two functions in future. Furthermore, the Supervisory Board has nominated Martin Baues (51) as a new member of the Management Board for Engineering and Technology. Martin Baues, who has a diploma in engineering, has been working for the company since 1992. The previous head of the business sector of new constructions and Managing Director of SHS Services GmbH has been responsible for the technical construction of a number of important investment projects over the past years. The Board of Management of Saarstahl will in future thus be composed as follows: Dr. Karlheinz Blessing (Chairman), Martin Baues (Chief Technical Officer), Fred Metzken (Chief Financial Officer) Dr. Peter Schäfer (Chief Sales Officer) and Peter Schweda (Chief Human Resources Officer and Labour Director).
