Dillinger Hütte GTS and its subsidiaries Ancofer Stahlhandel, AncoferWaldram Steelplates and Jebens exhibited together at bauma. Not only the very large range of heavy plates for earthmoving and mining but also other services of the Dillinger Hütte Group could be presented: ex stock deliveries, logistics and prefabrication as well as welded components. The worldwide raw material supply is a colossal task for mankind. The OEMs of construction and mining equipment presented at bauma even more powerful machines dedicated to the exploitation of raw material. Thicker and thicker high strength steel plates are needed for those machines - if possible in combination with very good toughness as safety margin for the use under heavy duty conditions. Dillinger Hütte GTS presented at bauma 2013 the new DILLIMAX 690 T – now in thicknesses up to 250 mm. Furthermore, the range of the wear resistant DILLIDUR IMPACT with good toughnesses at very low temperatures was extended to even larger thicknesses.
