Dillinger engages in a constructive dialogue with project planners, engineers and building owners on the future and use of steel in bridge building.
Over the next years, the German infrastructure will experience a wave of refurbishment, extension and replacement works. Precisely for bridge constructions, the steel construction sector offers a broad range of solutions meeting the high requirements in terms of functionality, aesthetic appeal and durability. Steel heavy plates build often the core of these constructions. Due to their wide range of applications and their targeted new developments, they provide project planners, engineers and building owners with the right tools for the conception and realization of most efficient and functional construction works.
On this issue and in order to communicate its new product developments in this promising segment, Dillinger Hütte organized on 25th/26th November its first Engineering Day for German speaking project planners, engineers and building owners of the steel construction sector.
Over 55 project planners, engineers and building owners from the German speaking area took up the invitation and came in Saarland to share their experiences and to collect information about the latest developments in the material development, bridge designs and standardization of steel heavy plates.
The intensive discussions between the lectures and during the day show that the opportunity to directly exchange experiences with experts in a pleasant atmosphere is highly appreciated and well utilized by participants. Should be repeated.
Innovative top-quality steel products, total orientation around our customers' needs and unceasing technological development in close cooperation with our partners form the basis of our success - as they have for more than 333 years.
